We design environments for animated and interactive productions and printed and online publications. These have been 2D illustrations and 3D digital or physical models, often presented in layers to help with filming, gameplay or design-clarity.
This includes 2D, digital 3D and physical stop-motion environments that match and support character art. We use different techniques and materials to generate urban and natural backgrounds; a city for Honda, a desert for Wile E. Coyote, and some little houses for Disney!
Squidinc’s work is included in comics, books and games, helping to enhance the story of a character or provide challenges for a player. This can be detailed illustrations of a snowy landscape, or a pixelated platform to move through.
