Homeware
Squidinc has worked with many product-design companies over the years, adding our characters in 2D and in 3D sculpted form. We also work on design elements that enhance or surround existing, licensed character art, across themed tableware and giftware ranges.
Candle Pots
This project includes concept development for the shape of the pots and the sculpted character details on each surface. Each side includes a creature and simple geometric motifs, based on animals and their environments. The wax inside is even scented to reflect the animals’ floral, forest, and ocean homes!
Disney Mugs
Squidinc works with many licensed characters and properties, as well as designing our own. These Walt Disney Winnie the Pooh mugs are an example of one of these projects; colouring existing character artwork and developing design elements to enhance that art and the product associated with it.
Tableware
These are a series of characters designed for a range that includes plates, mugs, cups, and saucers. The scribbly art style is intended to highlight the range as a playful addition to mealtime; larger animals accompanied by smaller animals, food and footprints surrounding the large central features.
